Another Lucia Tilda Gift Card

Good morning everyone......we are in the midst of a major snowstorm/blizzard! A good crafting day!!! I have another chocolate treat card to show you featuring the lovely Lucia Tilda. The papers are all Magnolia.

The inside of the card features Angel Tilda from the Nativity Collection. Thank you for taking time to visit my blog. This is such a busy time of the year and I do believe that this is probably the final Christmas card for this year. Gift Tags

Hello everyone.....wishing you all a fabulous Sunday! It's time for a new challenge at Hjertebodens Jule Blogg and this month they want to see gift tags.

The first tag features one of my new favorite Tildas....Lucia Tilda! Very little coloring here....I just picked up the blue/green that matches the DP. I crimped the gold Mirro tag and added a Marianne tree die and a Nestie star.

My next tag features a sweet Haenglar girl holding up a sign. You can spot the new Magnolia trees die behind the image. The bell is from my stash.

My third and final tag is very simple....a Haenglar girl with a large heart. The tinsel on the last two tags is from Tim Holtz.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I appreciate your comments. Enjoy your day! Hugs, Christina

Tilda with Snowflake

Good afternoon everyone! I found some sheets of Figgy Pudding papers in my stash and I really like the red and blue/green color combination, so I decided to showcase this lovely Tilda in the required colors. This is actually a tea light card, but instead to tea candles, I decided to place chocolates in the little box. My great-niece wants me to make six treat cards for her and there is not much time left! Only 3 more weeks until Christmas....yikes.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I really appreciate it! Wishing you all a fabulous weekend. Hugs, Christina

Lily of the Valley Christmas

Good afternoon.....hope you are all having a pleasant Monday! Today, I decided to play with one of my LOTV Christmas images. I have a special affinity for angels...love seeing them on Christmas cards! This sweet angel is showcased on papers I purchased several years ago....don't know the manufacturer any more! The image is stamped on a Nellie Snellen die cut and the Christmas tree is a Nestie die. I also used the new Christmas Lace die from Magnolia.

The inside of the card features a Nestie ornament die. I also used a Christmas ornament embossing folder on the gold Mirro cardstock.

A special thank you to all my visitors..........I appreciate you all so much. Hugs, Christina

Tilda with Tag Gifts

Good afternoon.........hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday! Now it's only a mere 29 days until Christmas! I love making Christmas cards so this is definitely my favorite time of the year. I also love seeing all the spectacular creations that you are showing on your blogs.

Tilda with tag gifts is one of my favorite images. She is showcased on my dwindling supply of BoBunny Midnight Frost papers....only have a few sheets left on my 6x6 pad! Sigh! A friend was kind enough to send me those gorgeous Magnolia snowflakes.....looooooove 'em! The trees are also Magnolia and the star is from Memory Box.

Thank you for swinging by my blog....I love your visits and I appreciate your taking the time to comment. A big Thank You! Hugs, Christina

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning everyone and a very happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!! Today I thought I'd share my contribution to the dinner table.....dessert! I actually made three trays of custard fresh fruit tarts....didn't have enough room to show you all three!

I also made a typical German fresh fruit kuchen (Mandarinen Torte). I actually made two of those tortes, one for a co-worker! As you can see, I have been very busy!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my wonderful friends, followers and visitors for your continued support. I value all of you and I especially value the wonderful friendships I was lucky enough to foster over the past few years. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! lOVE you, Christina

More Tea Light Cards

Good afternoon....hope you are all enjoying your Sunday because tomorrow it's back to work!!!! Please bear with me.....I hope I'm not boring you with tea light cards, especially since I'm using the same Tilda, but I got several requests for that specific Angel Tilda on tea light cards!

I love those pastel papers by Inkido which I purchased a couple of years ago. I also used the new Christmas lace die from Magnolia. The inside of the card once again has a pocket with the sentiment on the tag.

My next card features Tilda on BoBunny papers, also purchased a couple of years ago. Love those papers and I'm almost out! I wanted Tilda to pop so I applied blue inks with a stipple brush, using a touch of yellow for the center. All the embellishments are from my stash.

The inside of the card is quite simple and on this card I decided to place the pocket in the back with the sentiment.

I have 6 more tea lights left so that means one more card will be created, but I'm definitely using a different image.....perhaps Lucia Tilda when she arrives!!

Thank you so much for your visits and your continued support....you are awesome! Big Hugs, Christina

Tea Light Card

Good afternoon to all my lovely blogging friends! We have had such beautiful weather all week long....not something the deer hunters want to see! They would prefer snow.....yuck!!!! I drove to town this morning and there is a steady line of traffic going north.

Today, I'd like to share a tea light card I made featuring my favorite Tilda from the new Nativity Collection. I'll be making lots more cards with this cute Angel Tilda! I used the lovely Maja Design Christmas papers, also my very favorite. Looking at it now, though, I should have used a much narrower ribbon and perhaps also one in white with gold trim. Ahhhhh....so much for hindsight!

The inside of the card features a pocket in which I inserted a tag with the sentiment. Good place also for a gift card or a bill.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I love reading your comments and appreciate the time you take to visit! Big Hugs, Christina

November Entries for Hjertebodens Jule Blog

Good morning to all my wonderful blog followers and friends! Hope you are enjoying a fabulous weekend! This month at Hjertebodens, we are to make a card with products from the store. Well, I tried to make a purchase at the store, but the checking out process was a lost cause.....it is a Norwegian site. Then, I remembered the cute little gift bag I received as a gift from the Christmas blogg, along with the red rose and glimmer mist (used that on the rose). Well, I decorated the bag with the darling Angel Tilda from the current Nativity Collection. She is colored with copics and showcased on papers from Norway, purchased a couple of years ago. I also used my Magnolia angel wing dies. The back of the gift bag is very simply decorated.

Next, I created a card with the darling Tilda with large bouquet, using papers purchased several years ago from Inkido. The Christmas tree is a Marianne Creatables die.

Finally, I made another Chocolate treat card featuring a Bildmalarna image. The papers are Magnolia, which I distressed with white paint to tone down the colors a bit.

The inside of the treat card features a Magnolia sentiment and a Stampscapes and Magnolia tree.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment. I appreciate your support so much. Bless you!!! Big Hugs, Christina

Pion Vintage Christmas

Good evening everyone! I don't know about you, but I'm so happy that all the pre-election craziness is OVER!!!!!!!!!! My phone is finally silent and I don't have to listen to all those negative ads!!!!!!!!!! I just hope that everyone will work together for the good of the country.

I wanted to create a card showcasing the gorgeous Pion Design papers. I think those angels are so beautiful....I added a little dazzle and I hope you like it.
Also, here is a picture of our Buddy....relaxing! He is a rescue dog we were blessed with two years ago. He's brought so much joy into our lives....a really special dog!
Life is rough....isn't it????

Thank you for visiting my blog.....I sure appreciate it!!!! Big Hugs, Christina

Bildmalerna Christmas

Good afternoon to all my lovely blogging friends! I just received this adorable Bildmalerna stamp in the mail the other day and, of course, I had to make a card with it. I think the new Bildmalerna Christmas collection is outstanding...so many darling images to play with! The image is showcased on the new Maja Papers "It's Christmas Time"....love those papers! The tree is a Memory Box die and the lovey bells and sleigh are from Marianne Creatables. I colored the image with copics.

The inside of the card is quite simple. As you can see, I stamped the sentiment right onto the designer paper.

Thank you for visiting my blog and taking a few minutes out of your busy day to leave a comment. It is very much appreciated. Hugs, Christina

Forest Tilda

Good afternoon to all my lovely blogging friends....hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

I created a card showcasing Forest Tilda. My friend, Danielle, told me the other day that this Tilda reminds her of my daughter and I would have to agree! My daughter spends most of her time in the forest....for work and pleasure! She and her husband go hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, camping, etc. etc. They both enjoy and respect their environment. As a matter of fact, she had long blond braids for a very long time while in primary school.

Tilda is colored with copics. Papers are from Magnolia, as well as the fence die. The clouds are a Memory Box die.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for your continued support. I appreciate it sincerely. Hugs, Christina

Tilda with Rudolph.....Once Again!

Greetings to everyone! I wanted to make another simple, easy to mail card featuring this adorable Tilda with Rudolph. I just love this precious image. She is colored with copics and showcased on papers from Magnolia. The lovely corner die is from Joy Crafts. As I look at this card, something is definitely missing....flowers!!!!! However, as I stated, I wanted a few cards for overseas that are less cumbersome to mail.

I will be taking part in Tilda's Town challenge this week where the theme is "Merry Christmas". Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. I appreciate your visits so much. Thank you!

Tilda with Rudolph

OMG....I had a horrific experience today! My husband and I took our shepherd, Buddy, for a walk. When we approached our neighbor who lives approximately 1/2 mile north of us, I noticed all their hunting dogs out and they were all running towards us (about 12 dogs)!!!!! I knew immediately that this was going to get very BAD. This menacing posse was after my dog and all my husband was able to do is hold on to our dog. I screamed and started kicking my legs in every direction to protect Buddy. I saw the owner come running, but she only managed to get a few dogs away from us, leaving the worst ones for me to fight off! OMG......this was something out of a horror movie. I just screamed and kicked and cried, determined to save my Buddy. Every once in a while, one got to him and I heard him squeal. She finally came back to round up the three that were terrorizing us and managed to get them home. Let me tell you, I cried all the way home. Thank goodness that I decided to go along today because normally I don't walk on the weekends because I'm usually too tired after working all night.

Well, the neighbor called and she was crying too. She felt very bad and wanted to be sure that we are all OK. I checked Buddy out and there was no blood, but he was a little touchy on the back flank.

Not much to say about my card....it is a simple design using the adorable Tilda with Rudolph from the current Christmas collection. She is showcased on Pion Design papers and colored with copics.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate it very much. Hugs, Christina

Good morning everyone! Gosh, isn't this month just flying by????? Wow, before you know it, the snow will be flying!!

I received some lovely LOTV stamps from a dear friend and I finally had the chance to use one of them. This adorable angel is colored with copics and showcased on my favorite BoBunny Midnight Frost papers. All the embellishments are from my stash.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Wishing you all a fabulous Wednesday! Hugs, Christina

Say it with Chocolate

Good morning and a very happy weekend to all! Gosh, I haven't been feeling very inspired lately and my back went out a few days ago simply by taping this lovely lady onto the base of the card...unbelievable!!!! I did, however, manage to finish this birthday treat card for my son.

I purchased 6 bars of assorted chocolate for making Christmas treat cards for friends and I proceeded to hide them from hubby, as he cannot have sweets. Well, I hid them so well that I cannot find them!!!!! Looked everywhere....nothing! He swears that he did not eat them! LOL Soooo, I took one bar from an already finished Christmas card and inserted it into my son's birthday card.

I wanted to make this card sleek and simple, but sexy, and not girlie. Well, I think I kind of defeated that purpose by using pink papers and ribbon. I find it incredibly challenging to make male cards. This beautiful Saturated Canary image is colored with copics and showcased on papers from Glitz's "Pretty in Pink" collection.

Thank you for visiting my humble blog. I truly appreciate your visits. Hugs!

Christmas Scene

Good afternoon everyone! Well, hubby is out of town, so I have a little extra time to craft. My mother and I will be eating leftovers for the next couple of days! I created this card for the Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge Blog which has an easy theme this week...."Anything Goes with Fabric".

The trees in the background are Magnolia and, of course, the two darling minis are Haenglars. The corner die is from Memory Box and Rudolph is a Marianne die. Notice the red Stickle nose....hahahaha!!! The papers are from my scrap pile.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog....your continued visits and support are truly appreciated. Big Hugs, Christina
